Once you've got your personal branding photos, where can you use them?

Everyone thinks of using their personal branding photos on their website and social media, but what about other places to use your photos?

Where to use personal branding photos:

Website

Social media (places like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.)

Reel Covers

Email Signature

Media Press Kit (for speaking engagements, Podcast guesting etc.)

Business Card

Guides/PDF

Newsletters

Magazine Submissions

Billboards

Create brand awareness, recognition and consistency when you use your personal branding photos across all platforms. Start with the website updates and everywhere you have profile photos, but then start thinking of other places to use your new branding photos.

Let’s go into more details about all the different places you can use your photos.

Reel covers that will be stationary on Instagram. I personally like to use Instagram feed like my portfolio, this is kept clean and as on brand as I can without being perfectionist with it. The stories are where I’m using my phone quality photos and really build the trust part.

Email Signature create an email signature using Canva to insert your new branding photo along with your contact information. And if you want something more personalized connect with Jessica, a graphic designer and she will create a custom template for you.

Media Press Kit this is one I’d use a Google Search to find a template. Basically this is a document that has all your website, bio, case studies and links to your headshot photos that they can use.

Business Cards I know not everyone uses physical cards, but if you do, I’d recommend adding your headshot on there. At networking events you meet a lot of people and it can be hard to remember everyone’s faces, but if you have your face on your business card it helps with brand awareness.

Guide and PDF Downloads If you plan to create one of these for your business, let me know before the photoshoot. If I know before your personal branding photoshoot we can plan to get specific photos for that content piece.

Newsletters Just like the email signature, you can also add this at the end of your newsletters, as a header image or all throughout your newsletter to keep creating brand consistency and awareness.

Magazine Submissions This is a fun one for myself, I personally love anything that is printed reading material. If you’re going to submit your business, your work or your story to a magazine also add your personal branding photos as well. A magazine is showing your professional work and you want the quality of your images to showcase your professionalism as well.

Billboards Now this is a brand new one for my business. If you want to have something printed large, make sure those photos can handle being printed at a large scale. This is a great way to get a lot of eyes on your business every day. This will be for a very local demographic and would be great for businesses who have a brick and mortar location or their target market is within that specific city.
